We tried the existing safety apps. Almost all of them expect the same thing from you: check in every day, confirm you're okay, keep the routine going. Miss a single tap and the alarms start — so you get false alerts, alert fatigue, and eventually you just switch the whole thing off. And an app that's switched off protects no one.
That felt backwards to us. Safety shouldn't be one more chore that depends on your discipline — or on you being conscious and able to react in the worst possible moment. The people most at risk are exactly the ones who can't reach for a button.
